The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th play minute John Björkkvist came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Lindell. 1-0. Richard Bergman's late challenge caught a Henley Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Bergman helped the player get up and apologised. Richard Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Henley Utd getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lars-Erik Wennerberg hit a great ball. The supporters of Henley Utd booed when Börna Bulldogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börna Bulldogs's David Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Wennerqvist in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Börna Bulldogs getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vidar Svartengren hit a great ball. The long shot by Valentin Hård in the 28th minute really tested David Lindell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 31 played minutes Börna Bulldogs got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Godholm. In the 32nd minute, John Björkkvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Lindell. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Alström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Lindell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc-Joel van Bronckhorst in the 50th minute of the match. Börna Bulldogs's David Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Paulin in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthon Paulin in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Lindell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Josef Gallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 55 minutes, Claes Stålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Börna Bulldogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claes Stålberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emil Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Henley Utd booed when Börna Bulldogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Stålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börna Bulldogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc-Joel van Bronckhorst was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. David Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Björkkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. David Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Lund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Bengt Lund in the 86th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. David Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc-Joel van Bronckhorst in the 90th minute of play. Henley Utd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
