When Carlinhos Félix came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Here Comes the Hammer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Félix couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Axel Lundström in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Here Comes the Hammer's Stig Eskilsson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlinhos Félix in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Bergqvist saved DIF LEEDS BK from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Niclas Österberg made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Here Comes the Hammer's zone, Hampus Tolsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Klack came out of the goal and Hampus Tolsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Here Comes the Hammer booed when DIF LEEDS BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kārlis Straubegs charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kārlis Straubegs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Here Comes the Hammer getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Kārlis Straubegs hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niclas Österberg in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valter Klack prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Christoffersson in the 64th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Hampus Tolsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Klack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Robert Christoffersson could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Aaron Bergqvist however easily saved by the left post. Here Comes the Hammer were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after DIF LEEDS BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hasse Brasse took the corner. Hasse Brasse made a great header on Here Comes the Hammer's corner, it was just that DIF LEEDS BK's Aaron Bergqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 79th match minute, DIF LEEDS BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Månsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute of the match Here Comes the Hammer got a corner. DIF LEEDS BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hasse Brasse ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Emil Niemoj got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aaron Bergqvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of DIF LEEDS BK booed when Here Comes the Hammer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Félix came free, but Aaron Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Here Comes the Hammer's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
