The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. StraX Xenon FC's Arman Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Hallgren in the 3rd minute of play. Karl-Johan Hammarström's late challenge caught a StraX Xenon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Johan Hammarström helped the player get up and apologised. Karl-Johan Hammarström hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingvar Gadd in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Gadd came free, but Marcus Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Ralf Norström got a free kick in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Velasquez in the 13th minute of play forced StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Arman Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Ahlström came free, but Marcus Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Marcus Vase successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ingvar Gadd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marcus Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aleksander Blomqvist in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Vase saved Bennis from getting behind. Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Alstedt in the 23rd minute of play. Jan-Åke Hallgren kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Marcus Vase successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Cain Velasquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arman Lundström. StraX Xenon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cain Velasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Gustav Alstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arman Lundström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cain Velasquez went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ingvar Gadd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute Cain Velasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Hammarström kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The StraX Xenon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bennis were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cain Velasquez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gustav Alstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Hammarström to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Herman Ahlström. Cain Velasquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arman Lundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cain Velasquez ran back to his position shaking his head. StraX Xenon FC's Arman Lundström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save StraX Xenon FC from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, Cain Velasquez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arman Lundström, 0-3. Bennis made a substitution. Per Lundkvist replaced Axel Wassenius. When Gustav Alstedt came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the StraX Xenon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Alstedt couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Cain Velasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Lundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the game, Aleksander Blomqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. StraX Xenon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bennis the free kick. Aleksander Blomqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by StraX Xenon FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Wallgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Bennis's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Harry Wallgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but StraX Xenon FC's Arman Lundström did a great save. Gustav Alstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Vase having to interfere.
