Freddie Henderson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Freddie Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bill Livingston made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C. A. Independiente's Conrad Carrington. Clemente Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Huston in the 13th minute of play. When Todd Ogden fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Independiente's protests and gave Todd Ogden a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Todd Ogden got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Elliot Orozco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Lanny Valle came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddie Henderson in the 18th minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C. A. Pipon Pipon's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lanny Valle in the 26th minute. Lanny Valle made a great header on C. A. Pipon Pipon's corner, it was just that C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro managed to reach the ball for a save. Roy Huston kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After some careless play in the C. A. Independiente defense, Freddie Henderson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Ángel Santoro. The C. A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Ángel Santoro should have stopped the shot. Clemente Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Huston in the 32nd minute of play. Guy Becerra hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lanny Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Freddie Henderson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Miguel Ángel Santoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Nick Sumner was substituted for Foster Romero.

Roy Huston hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Freddie Henderson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of C. A. Independiente's Miguel Ángel Santoro. Miguel Ángel Santoro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Freddie Henderson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Pipon Pipon's Lanny Valle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miguel Ángel Santoro. Miguel Ángel Santoro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 73rd minute, Bobby Fisher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Ángel Santoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 78 minutes into the game, Pancho Cabeza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Pipon Pipon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Independiente the free kick. A collision led to C. A. Pipon Pipon getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pancho Cabeza hit a great ball. Lanny Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Elliot Orozco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute of the match Landon Vogt sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Ángel Santoro skillfully saved the ball. 87 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Freddie Henderson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Ángel Santoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute Lanny Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Ángel Santoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
