The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Bernabeytia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascal Avalos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Reginald Fisher. Pascal Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cameron Cardona in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Abraham Boyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willie Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Vergaray Bernabeytia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Stowe City's Willie Cabrera. Willie Cabrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute, Darryl Hardin made a precise shot to the right of Willie Cabrera. Stowe City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 24th match minute, S.D. Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohammed Bautista to maneuver through the defense. S.D. Vergaray Bernabeytia took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willie Cabrera. With his leg Pascal Avalos managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Stowe City's Edinho Bueno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute, Vergaray Bernabeytia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Willie Cabrera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After 44 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Yoder. In the 45th minute, Darius Seals sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stowe City's Willie Cabrera didn't even have to move. The Stowe City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. S.D. Bajen were winning 0-4.

The referee ignored Stowe City's protests and gave Reginald Fisher a yellow card for diving instead. S.D. Bajen's Leonardo Starr was substituted for Mohammed Bautista. A collision led to Stowe City getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Reginald Fisher hit a great ball. The supporters of Stowe City booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Baez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
