Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) C. A. Independiente's Roy Huston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel Ángel Santoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Roark in the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, C. A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Becerra to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Roark in the 11th minute of play. When El Canalla de Chicago's Kevin Roark in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. 14 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Roark came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Martin Tuttle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel Ángel Santoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonah Peck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guy Becerra in the 25th minute of the match. If Martin Tuttle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Roark in the 37th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Independiente's Claudio Arzeno got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Kevin Roark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rudolph Thurman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half El Canalla de Chicago were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Roark to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Claudio Arzeno threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Canalla de Chicago's Kermit DeJesus quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 57 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Ángel Santoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Lindsey came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Lindsey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Hector Spivey. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Lindsey in the 71st minute of play forced C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Santoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tanner Waller made in the 73rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rudolph Thurman immediately put the ball in play. Miguel Ángel Santoro came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Clark Lindsey. But to his dismay, Clark Lindsey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Giuseppe Gillis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Miguel Ángel Santoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Canalla de Chicago. Miguel Ángel Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Roark in the 84th minute of play. Emmanuel Akers hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clark Lindsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded El Canalla de Chicago left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Independiente.
