Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roy Huston made the kick off which started today's match. Luiz Fábio Queiroz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.D. Bajen fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C. A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after S.D. Bajen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Conrad Carrington took the corner. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vergaray Bernabeytia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorge Baez in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Ángel Santoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Abraham Boyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes C. A. Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Rodney Urbina. When S.D. Bajen's Vergaray Bernabeytia in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. A. Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Rodney Urbina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.D. Bajen the free kick. Ferdinand Bauer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Avalos having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in S.D. Bajen's zone, Reggie Keen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascal Avalos came out of the goal and Reggie Keen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Huston received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pascal Avalos came out and tried to block the shot, but Roy Huston slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vergaray Bernabeytia made a kick off. Miguel Ángel Santoro had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Vergaray Bernabeytia from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The supporters of C. A. Independiente booed when S.D. Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Boyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Huston in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascal Avalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdinand Bauer in the 57th minute of play forced S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Pascal Avalos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal Avalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdinand Bauer in the 60th minute of play. Miguel Ángel Santoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Baez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led S.D. Bajen's Darius Seals to fire away a dangerous shot which Miguel Ángel Santoro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Boyer came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of C. A. Independiente's goalie and right to Abraham Boyer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. C. A. Independiente's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. S.D. Bajen's Darius Seals couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C. A. Independiente. 77 minutes into the match, C. A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Vergaray Bernabeytia came free, but Miguel Ángel Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Roy Huston made a precise shot to the right of Pascal Avalos. S.D. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Vergaray Bernabeytia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, S.D. Bajen's Chance Holley got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th play minute Vergaray Bernabeytia came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miguel Ángel Santoro. 3-2. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Drew Burrows with Abraham Boyer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. S.D. Bajen's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
