Ayrton Senna struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Franco Di Giambattista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. 10 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Valle came free, but Segundo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Franco Di Giambattista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Middleton in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Racing Miami Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blair Lusk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Middleton came free, but Franco Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Mario Hayes. New England Minas's Segundo Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Lusk in the 29th minute of play. Blair Lusk didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 31st minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathan Valle in the 33rd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New England Minas's Segundo Gol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Segundo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Valle in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Racing Miami Futbol Club made a substitution. Jackson Shipley replaced Blair Lusk. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Denny Godwin was substituted for Willie Vogt. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fletcher Lund was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Cassidy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Gol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Elias Isaac's late challenge caught a New England Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Isaac helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Isaac to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Genaro Cassidy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jackson Shipley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes New England Minas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Denny Godwin who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Cassidy in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Gol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the New England Minas defense, Genaro Cassidy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Gol. The New England Minas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Gol should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 74 minutes of play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Cassidy made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Segundo Gol was left in no man's land by his defense there! New England Minas's Segundo Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Shipley in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Genaro Cassidy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Segundo Gol was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Eddy Mendez made a great header on Racing Miami Futbol Club's corner, it was just that New England Minas's Segundo Gol managed to reach the ball for a save. Segundo Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Cassidy, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Genaro Cassidy took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Segundo Gol. Segundo Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Miami Futbol Club's zone, Wilfredo Middleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Di Giambattista came out of the goal and Wilfredo Middleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Gol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Cassidy, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Racing Miami Futbol Club's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
