Blair Lusk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ilie Marghescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Willie Vogt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilie Marghescu. Dep. Moron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willie Vogt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Blair Lusk took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ilie Marghescu to make any attempt to save it. Ilie Marghescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Blair Lusk's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute of the match, Blair Lusk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilie Marghescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Blair Lusk took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilie Marghescu. Ilie Marghescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Johnathan Valle came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Racing Miami Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnathan Valle couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Racing Miami Futbol Club's Johnathan Valle slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilie Marghescu. That made the score 4-0 after 29 minutes of play. Dep. Moron's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Johnathan Valle scored to the left of an out of position Ilie Marghescu, making the score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Blair Lusk got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute, Rashad Werner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Lusk in the 40th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Dep. Moron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Jamison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Genaro Cassidy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ilie Marghescu having to make a save. In the 66th minute Genaro Cassidy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilie Marghescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rashad Werner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Di Giambattista having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Dep. Moron got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Aranda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Cassidy in the 75th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Franco Di Giambattista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Miami Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on Racing Miami Futbol Club's corner Glen Hoff fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilie Marghescu quite easily take care of the ball. If Genaro Cassidy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Elias Isaac got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute of the match Samuel Jamison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franco Di Giambattista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ilie Marghescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Cassidy in the 96th minute of play. Ilie Marghescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Cassidy went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Racing Miami Futbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dep. Moron had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
