Segundo Gol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alex Raţiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khachatryan's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Raţiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Segundo Gol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Segundo Gol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Villegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Alex Raţiu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of New England Minas's Segundo Gol. Segundo Gol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute Arno Martirosyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Gol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Martirosyan in the 34th minute of the match. Segundo Gol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arno Martirosyan in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Villegas came free, but Segundo Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Martirosyan in the 42nd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Segundo Gol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. New England Minas's Stewart Francis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Graig Duke, made in the 46th minute of the game. The New England Minas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Khachatryan were winning 0-4.

Graig Duke got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Raţiu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arno Martirosyan got free with Segundo Gol in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Segundo Gol didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Khachatryan made a substitution. Nair Vartanyan replaced Ricky Villegas. In the 60th minute, Arno Martirosyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Stepanyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Segundo Gol made a huge save. After 76 minutes New England Minas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arno Martirosyan who took care of the corner kick. Alex Raţiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Segundo Gol having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Diogo Yurin managed to get in a good position for a shot. New England Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Diogo Yurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serge Koryan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, New England Minas's Segundo Gol got control of the ball when Manuel Stepanyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Lund in the 83rd minute of play forced Khachatryan's goalkeeper Serge Koryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Raţiu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Gol saved New England Minas from getting behind. Khachatryan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
