Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dep. Moron's Rashad Werner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu got control of the ball when Houston Floyd tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Skywalker in the 7th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ilie Marghescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Costanza, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Dep. Moron from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Kristofer Loyd left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The American Airlines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 18 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Page. Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Costanza in the 31st minute of play. After 35 minutes, Mario Madel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the American Airlines and the Dep. Moron players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jean-Marie Pfaff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rashad Werner's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristofer Loyd in the 38th minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes American Airlines got a freekick which was hit by Mario Madel. 45 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Ilie Marghescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Houston Floyd. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Houston Floyd to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Costanza in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Marghescu saved Dep. Moron from getting behind. Ilie Marghescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Costanza, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Fabian Page kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ilie Marghescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Costanza in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kristofer Loyd managed to get in a good position for a shot. American Airlines's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristofer Loyd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Marghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilie Marghescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Costanza in the 64th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the game, American Airlines's George Costanza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilie Marghescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Houston Floyd in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ilie Marghescu saved Dep. Moron from getting behind. Lonnie Bowman hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Costanza in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Marghescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78thth minute of the game Houston Floyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristofer Loyd hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Lucas Palacios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jean-Marie Pfaff made a huge save. If Kristofer Loyd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ilie Marghescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Houston Floyd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Madel kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 90thth minute of the game George Costanza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pipo Kaká's late challenge caught a Dep. Moron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pipo Kaká helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, American Airlines's Pipo Kaká got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the American Airlines players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
