FC Fura Balizas's Tobias Paixão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Salah in the 23rd minute of play. Tobias Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Neves in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute Tobias Taveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Paixão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Paixão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Salah, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 39 minutes into the match, Tobias Taveira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Fura Balizas's Tobias Paixão. Tobias Paixão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Márcio Vilarinho got a free kick in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Guarda to make the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Yuri Parente put in a rough tackle. Yuri Parente kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. FC Fura Balizas's Vladimiro Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pascoal Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Fura Balizas's Mateus Vieira was substituted for Gustavo Gameiro. After having played for 59 minutes, Pascoal Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suprs Academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascoal Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Márcio Vilarinho's late challenge caught a Suprs Academia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Márcio Vilarinho helped the player get up and apologised. Márcio Vilarinho hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. José Salah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Neves who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Tobias Paixão when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tobias Paixão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Neves in the 69th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Pascoal Paredes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Fura Balizas's Tobias Paixão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Fura Balizas's Kevin Damásio was substituted for Jacinto Rodrigues. 81 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Tobias Paixão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Neves. José Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Guarda in the 82nd minute of the match. José Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Fura Balizas's Jorge Leite was substituted for Vladimiro Guerreiro. 90 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Tobias Paixão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Salah. After 94 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Vieira. Suprs Academia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
