A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Pedro Mantorras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Henriques narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Pedro Mantorras dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of José Henriques, 1-0. Lucas Luis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Henriques having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suprs Academia's goalkeeper José Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. José Neves took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Enke. Robert Enke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Pedro Mantorras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Suprs Academia's José Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amável Rangel during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Robert Enke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascoal Paredes in the 31st minute of play. Pedro Mantorras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but José Henriques made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Salah to make the kick off. Robert Enke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascoal Paredes in the 52nd minute of play. After 62 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Leiria. Terceirense F.C. made a substitution. Gregório Moutinho replaced Pedro Mantorras. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Norberto Leiria hit a great ball. Robert Enke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascoal Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Gregório Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. José Henriques didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. After 71 minutes, Yuri Parente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suprs Academia and the Terceirense F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yuri Parente kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. José Henriques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Bentes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Enke was a little too slow when José Salah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 1-2. António Fontes charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed António Fontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, António Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Terceirense F.C.'s Robert Enke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Terceirense F.C. from getting a goal against them. Norberto Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Terceirense F.C.'s Robert Enke got control of the ball when Tobias Taveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Suprs Academia getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Renato Leite hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregório Moutinho in the 90th minute of play forced Suprs Academia's goalkeeper José Henriques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Norberto Leiria got a free kick in the 91st minute.
