In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Isidoro Fontoura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Pedro Mantorras came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Terceirense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Mantorras couldn't finish the play. 5 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Mantorras came free, but Isidoro Fontoura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Tiago Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dezassete's zone, Pedro Mantorras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidoro Fontoura came out of the goal and Pedro Mantorras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Pedro Mantorras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isidoro Fontoura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Mantorras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Dezassete getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Roberto Reis hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Pedro Mantorras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isidoro Fontoura saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Dezassete's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Pedro Mantorras scored to the left of an out of position Isidoro Fontoura, making the score, 1-0. Tiago Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiago Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. FC Dezassete's Isidoro Fontoura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save FC Dezassete from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC Dezassete booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Mantorras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Dezassete fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! FC Dezassete:s Isidoro Fontoura showed great skill when he stopped Enzo Bentes:s penalty. Rui Vaz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Fontoura. FC Dezassete's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 57th match minute, FC Dezassete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cândido Carvalheira to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Luis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Fontoura having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cândido Carvalheira during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Cândido Carvalheira got a free kick in the 61st minute. Cândido Carvalheira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Isidoro Fontoura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregório Moutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
