Valério Vidigal hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, FC Fura Balizas's Ivaylo Yordanov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higino Pessoa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st minute of the match FC Fura Balizas got a corner. Pinhote FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Homero Saraiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Joaquim Ribeiro got a free kick in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivaylo Yordanov came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Ivaylo Yordanov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harald Lossmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The FC Fura Balizas fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when FC Fura Balizas's Ivaylo Yordanov looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Zezé Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Harald Lossmann made a huge save. Higino Pessoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durval Póvoas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Pinhote FC defense, Durval Póvoas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higino Pessoa. The Pinhote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higino Pessoa should have stopped the shot. FC Fura Balizas's Gilmar Guerra was substituted for Homero Saraiva. The audience thought a goal was coming when Márcio Antas got free with Harald Lossmann in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
