Zbyszko Skorny hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Caetano Coutinho's late challenge caught a Esquadrão Lusitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Bouzas in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albérico Vilaverde saved SC Braga from getting behind. After 23 minutes of play, Esquadrão Lusitano's Rafael Bouzas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albérico Vilaverde was left in no man's land by his defense there! Albérico Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 狄夕远 in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute 狄夕远 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, 狄夕远 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 77 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Albérico Vilaverde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Bouzas. Yavuzalp Eroğul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Albérico Vilaverde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄夕远 in the 84th minute of play. Esquadrão Lusitano played a much better game than SC Braga and deserved their victory. The SC Braga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
