Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mateo Esiquio started the match with the kick off. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael Aregger in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Mateo Esiquio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espen Steelers's Akira Schmid was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mich Batshuayi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akira Schmid having to interfere. Patryk Banaszak kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär. But to his dismay, Fabian Schär quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schär came free, but Tristan Arioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Mich Batshuayi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tristan Arioli was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär got a free kick in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remo Pürro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akira Schmid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Akira Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Esiquio in the 51st minute of the match. When Andreas Huri fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Schär kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tristan Arioli. That made the score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Remo Pürro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Akira Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Ambühl got free with Tristan Arioli in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Espen Steelers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olympique Fribourg.
