Patryk Banaszak kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär. But to his dismay, Fabian Schär quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Olympique Fribourg's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schär came free, but Tristan Arioli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Mich Batshuayi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Fabian Schär made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Akira Schmid prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Akira Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Esiquio in the 51st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabian Schär kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tristan Arioli. That made the score 1-3 in the 65 minute of play. Remo Pürro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Akira Schmid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Espen Steelers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olympique Fribourg.
