Shah Henderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genta Songgonau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Tan in the 11th minute of play forced Sentinel's goalkeeper Cahya Wibowo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oakham's Shah Henderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Purnomo Wenas in the 13th minute of play. Afiq Choy hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Galih Suryata fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sentinel's protests and gave Galih Suryata a yellow card for diving instead. Galih Suryata kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Sajeev Chong's late challenge caught a Sentinel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sajeev Chong helped the player get up and apologised. Sajeev Chong hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cahya Wibowo stood somewhat misplaced when Clive Tan came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clive Tan in the 27th minute of play forced Sentinel's goalkeeper Cahya Wibowo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cahya Wibowo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mark Devan sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute of the match, Clive Tan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cahya Wibowo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Cahya Wibowo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sarb Lum, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 45th minute, Sarb Lum left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clive Tan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sentinel getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Purnomo Wenas hit a great ball. In the 52nd match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sajeev Chong to maneuver through the defense. Purnomo Wenas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Shah Henderson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Clive Tan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sentinel's Cahya Wibowo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Usman Masduki to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Clive Tan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cahya Wibowo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 64th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sansan Pitoy to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniz Shyan to maneuver through the defense. If Sansan Pitoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clive Tan in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cahya Wibowo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Sarwono to maneuver through the defense. Cahya Wibowo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clive Tan in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Oakham were awarded a corner. Sajeev Chong went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 92nd minute, Wei Xuan Politiek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shah Henderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genta Songgonau, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Oakham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
