The NFH Family United fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when NFH Family United's Ron Chian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute Alex Chai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zulham Romansyah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Alex Chai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zulham Romansyah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Chai in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match NFH Family United got a corner. RED SHARK FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alam Rajah ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zulham Romansyah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Chian in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, RED SHARK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Luntungan to maneuver through the defense. Alam Rajah took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zulham Romansyah. RED SHARK FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Irza Bajuri charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Irza Bajuri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes RED SHARK FC got a freekick which was hit by Irza Bajuri. A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Alex Chai hit a great ball. Steven Rajah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Topan Dollo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Zulham Romansyah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Chian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, RED SHARK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clive Dryburgh came free, but Zulham Romansyah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by RED SHARK FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alam Rajah was slow to take the kick. During this time NFH Family United's players had a chance to rest. Zulham Romansyah didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when NFH Family United's Victor Chandran shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. NFH Family United's Ron Chian got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Steven Rajah came out of the goal and Sílvio de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, RED SHARK FC's Steven Luntungan got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute of the match Alam Rajah shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zulham Romansyah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute, Sílvio de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RED SHARK FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Steven Rajah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Musadeq, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the NFH Family United defense, Sílvio de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Steven Rajah. The NFH Family United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Steven Rajah should have stopped the shot. In the 69th match minute, RED SHARK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Luntungan to maneuver through the defense. Steven Rajah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Musadeq in the 71st minute of play. Victor Chandran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sílvio de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED SHARK FC's protests and gave Sílvio de Senna a yellow card for diving instead.
