The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Halim Zeghdoud kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Topan Dollo struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Fathi Abbas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RED SHARK FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boughera Benmabrouk in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zulham Romansyah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in RED SHARK FC's zone, Samir Abdenouz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zulham Romansyah came out of the goal and Samir Abdenouz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the game, Sílvio de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED SHARK FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salmiyah Power the free kick. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Nouara Medjani replaced Madjid Arrache. After 12 played minutes RED SHARK FC got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio de Senna. In the 13th minute, Salmiyah Power's Boughera Benmabrouk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. RED SHARK FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Boughera Benmabrouk scored to the left of an out of position Zulham Romansyah, making the score, 2-0. Samir Abdenouz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, RED SHARK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Luntungan to maneuver through the defense. Samir Abdenouz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zulham Romansyah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Salmiyah Power's Fadhil Meniri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zulham Romansyah. That made the score 3-0 after 37 minutes of play.

A collision led to RED SHARK FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Irza Bajuri hit a great ball. When Boughera Zeghdoud came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Salmiyah Power fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boughera Zeghdoud couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Topan Dollo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zulham Romansyah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halim Zeghdoud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes RED SHARK FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boughera Zeghdoud who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice moves Topan Dollo could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Fathi Abbas however easily saved by the left post. In the 84th minute Sílvio de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fathi Abbas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, RED SHARK FC's Topan Dollo got a free kick in the 85th minute. The supporters of RED SHARK FC booed when Salmiyah Power was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nouara Medjani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fathi Abbas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Salmiyah Power fully deserved thier win.
