When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Anton Rossebø sped through Brufoss IL's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olav Øverby. The audience was convinced that Anton Rossebø's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olav Øverby was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Rossebø came free, but Olav Øverby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Sæter in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olav Øverby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kjønstad BF's Christian Haug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Egil Arntsen in the 42nd minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arild Reppen to maneuver through the defense. Julian Clausen kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Kjønstad BF were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tor-Egil Arntsen was the one to do the kick off. Olav Øverby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Clausen in the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Jonathan Sæter got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Brufoss IL's Kevin Hægeland was substituted for Tor-Egil Arntsen. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Karl Bergstrøm replaced Jon-Egil Grønli. Anton Rossebø in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
