With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Vie in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cent Haugsvær saved Cheeky Nuts United from getting behind. Kim Alnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cent Haugsvær having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Vie in the 9th minute of play forced Cheeky Nuts United's goalkeeper Cent Haugsvær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Åsnes were awarded a corner. Ray Man went to the cornerflag to take it. Rune Gjessing kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jonathan Vie sped through Cheeky Nuts United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cent Haugsvær. Cent Haugsvær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Vie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathan Vie in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cent Haugsvær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 20 minutes, Jonathan Vie made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cheeky Nuts United's Cent Haugsvær tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Jonathan Vie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åsnes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sturle Åsland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jaime Urdin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 27 minute of play. Cent Haugsvær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Vie in the 35th minute of play. Cent Haugsvær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Vie, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cheeky Nuts United's Cent Haugsvær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Vie in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Stian Systad took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Sturle Åsland to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Cheeky Nuts United's Sturle Åsland threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ken Nordtveit, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Stian Systad came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cheeky Nuts United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stian Systad couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute of the match, Ken Nordtveit tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sturle Åsland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Vie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cent Haugsvær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Vie in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Vie came free, but Cent Haugsvær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stian Systad in the 55th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Sturle Åsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cent Haugsvær showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Vie in the 60th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Niko Koivu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sturle Åsland. Åsnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niko Koivu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. In the 69th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ray Man to maneuver through the defense. Frode Norum struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Sturle Åsland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheeky Nuts United. Sturle Åsland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Nordtveit in the 71st minute of the match. Kim Alnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cent Haugsvær tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonathan Vie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cheeky Nuts United's zone, Jonathan Vie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cent Haugsvær came out of the goal and Jonathan Vie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Ånestad. In the 81st minute, Ken Nordtveit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sturle Åsland was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Jon-Inge Nysæter's late challenge caught a Cheeky Nuts United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon-Inge Nysæter helped the player get up and apologised. Jon-Inge Nysæter hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Stian Systad shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sturle Åsland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Vie came free, but Cent Haugsvær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cheeky Nuts United had played much better football throughout.
