Ildefonso Lizbeth's late challenge caught a Sportivo Fernet Branca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Lizbeth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Ildefonso Lizbeth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fratelli Branca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 13th minute Fratelli Branca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Santxol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soroca F.C.'s Danilo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fratelli Branca in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fratelli Branca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Santxol was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Arthur Theakston could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Alfonso Dalmai however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fratelli Branca in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Santxol saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Soroca F.C.'s zone, Fratelli Branca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Santxol came out of the goal and Fratelli Branca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fratelli Branca was the one to do the kick off. Alfonso Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soroca F.C.'s Danilo Santxol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fratelli Branca in the 55th minute of play. Danilo Santxol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fratelli Branca in the 56th minute of the match. With 64 minutes on the clock, Honorio Arce commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 63rd minute, one of Sportivo Fernet Branca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. Alfonso Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Ubarna in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Fernet Branca's zone, Gaston Ubarna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Dalmai came out of the goal and Gaston Ubarna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Obeko charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Obeko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Jeronimo Obeko got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Erasmo Teyo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Esteban Juvenal, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Alberto Serapio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danilo Santxol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfonso Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Elorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
