A collision led to Pendex getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cristian Gauargi hit a great ball. Pendex's Marcelino Ermengol was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Unai in the 9th minute of play forced Pendex's goalkeeper Guaberto Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pendex booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plaza Jewell's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Marcelino Ermengol scored to the left of an out of position Aldo Quentin, making the score, 2-0. Aldo Quentin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelino Ermengol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Plaza Jewell's Aldo Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Ermengol in the 18th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pendex's zone, Laureano Chabier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Orlandus came out of the goal and Laureano Chabier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Quentin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Gauargi went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 37th minute Modesto Efraim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Ermengol came free, but Aldo Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Txurio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Guaberto Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Modesto Efraim to make the kick off. Pastor Oso struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Aldo Quentin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendex. After a rather tough play, Plaza Jewell's Leopoldo Igon got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Ermengol came free, but Aldo Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Abel Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Leopoldo Giro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Orlandus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Plaza Jewell defense, Abel Bermudez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Quentin. The Plaza Jewell fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Quentin should have stopped the shot. Pendex's Igor Esdras was substituted for Cristian Gauargi. After 75 minutes, Leopoldo Igon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plaza Jewell and the Pendex players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Plaza Jewell getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leopoldo Igon hit a great ball. Pendex's Esteve Elija couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Plaza Jewell. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Chabier in the 85th minute of play forced Pendex's goalkeeper Guaberto Orlandus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Bermudez took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Quentin. Aldo Quentin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 95 minutes into the match, Plaza Jewell's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Esdras came free, but Aldo Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Garin's late challenge caught a Pendex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Garin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pendex booed when Plaza Jewell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Garin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plaza Jewell's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
