Cayetano Perutxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Abel Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Perutxo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Ermengol in the 38th minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Cayetano Perutxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Bermudezs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Cayetano Perutxo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. the xeneise dream team's Cayetano Perutxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save the xeneise dream team from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 58th minute, Abel Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pendex fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a little luck, Pendex's Guaberto Orlandus got control of the ball when Anastasio Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Bermudez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Perutxo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Pendex's Guaberto Orlandus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Lehoi in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Gualterio Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. the xeneise dream team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Erlantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Perutxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Bermudez's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 86th minute, Anastasio Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, the xeneise dream team's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Bermudez came free, but Cayetano Perutxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jonas Nikola fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored the xeneise dream team's protests and gave Jonas Nikola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Jonas Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pendex fully deserved thier win.
