The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Azulgrana 81's goalkeeper Federico Frasquito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Arnalt. Nunez Arias struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Federico Frasquito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC FUSION. 9 minutes into the match, Azulgrana 81's goalkeeper Federico Frasquito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Arias. In the 10th minute, Nunez Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Arnalt got free with Federico Frasquito in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Azulgrana 81's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lamine Yamal took the corner. The corner led AFC FUSION's Lamine Yamal to fire away a dangerous shot which Federico Frasquito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. AFC FUSION's Nunez Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramiro Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute Lamine Yamal suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Zacarias Txindoki's late challenge caught a AFC FUSION's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zacarias Txindoki helped the player get up and apologised. Zacarias Txindoki hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Nunez Arias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Federico Frasquito. The goal made the score 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nunez Arias to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Azulgrana 81's goalkeeper Federico Frasquito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, AFC FUSION's Benicio Senen got control of the ball when Primitivo Gimenez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benicio Senen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Gimenez in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute of the match Azulgrana 81 got a corner. AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Casomiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pedro Casomiro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benicio Senen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Benicio Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şentürk Temel in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Omero in the 69th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Benicio Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When AFC FUSION's Nunez Arias in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azulgrana 81's goalie prevented a goal. Federico Frasquito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Arias in the 72nd minute of play. Benicio Senen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Chale in the 73rd minute. Ramiro Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Frasquito having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Şentürk Temel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benicio Senen. The goal made the score 5-1. In the 83rd minute, Şentürk Temel made a precise shot to the right of Benicio Senen. AFC FUSION's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The AFC FUSION fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when AFC FUSION's Nunez Arias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 90 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Adrio. Nunez Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Frasquito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Azulgrana 81's Federico Frasquito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Arias in the 97th minute of play. Azulgrana 81's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
