Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeledon Locaio started the match with the kick off. A hard shot 3 in the game by Augusto Osasun from a close distance when the talented Prospero Calvino managed to make a qualified save. Rafaela FC's players were relieved. Joaquin Rosio might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Calvino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Rosio ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Fero lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Prospero Calvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Rosio, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Prospero Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Machado in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rafaela FC's Ovidio Txurio got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Osasun got free with Prospero Calvino in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Eugenio Izotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Firman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Florinio lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 19 minutes into the game, one of Bendito Sea El Fernet:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Rafaela FC. Gustavo Amato stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nemesio Firman. 0-1. In the 24th minute Joaquin Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Bendito Sea El Fernet got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Tuste. After 34 minutes, Fabio Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bendito Sea El Fernet and the Rafaela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabio Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Nemesio Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Navarro in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino got control of the ball when Augusto Osasun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Rafaela FC's Prospero Calvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Machado in the 53rd minute of play. Augusto Osasun took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Prospero Calvino. Prospero Calvino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Prospero Calvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Osasun in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when Rafaela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Izotz struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Nemesio Firman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rafaela FC. Fabio Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Prospero Calvino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Lorenzo Bortzaioriz made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Calvino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Calvino came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Bendito Sea El Fernet's Joaquin Rosio. But to his dismay, Joaquin Rosio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 82nd minute Fabio Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Calvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Augusto Osasun made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Calvino. Rafaela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Niceto Lluciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bendito Sea El Fernet's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Lluciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Calvino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Niceto Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
