An unexpectedly hard shot by John Wick in the 10th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mainumby getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Honorato Omero hit a great ball. In the 13th minute, Gaudencio Isidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hurboc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Benigno Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Koldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Cosme Thomas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki did a great save. Eusebio Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Thomas in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John Wick in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Ilazki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Hurboc's Mauro Iago got a free kick in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Isidor in the 30th minute of play forced Mainumby's goalkeeper Benigno Ilazki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Ilazki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santos Hotz went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Santos Hotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Wick to make the kick off. Benigno Ilazki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Wick, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Eusebio Koldo had to leave the field with a concussion. When Cristian Elequemedo fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Cristian Elequemedo a yellow card for diving instead. Hurboc's Robustiano Txema was substituted for Eusebio Koldo. Cristian Elequemedo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Benigno Ilazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Ilazki was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but John Wick showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 68 minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Txema came free, but Benigno Ilazki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes Mainumby got a freekick which was hit by Armando Beltza. Mainumby's goalkeeper couldn't reach when John Wick 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Melquiades Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Mainumby's Benigno Ilazki got control of the ball when John Wick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Ilazki stood somewhat misplaced when John Wick came free in front of goal and shot 0-8 to the left of him in the 88 minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Cosme Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurboc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Thomas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hurboc played a much better game than Mainumby and deserved their victory. The Mainumby players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
