Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ignacio Derwin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frichoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Evis. Merengue FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ignacio Derwin 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. With a little luck, Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso got control of the ball when Timoteo Evis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ignacio Derwin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Saturnino Costante charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Costante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Merengue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Costante to maneuver through the defense. After 25th play minutes Ignacio Derwin shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Cirilo Frichoso and just under the crossbar into goal. Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Darien in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Evis got free with Cirilo Frichoso in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirilo Frichoso came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Ignacio Derwin. But to his dismay, Ignacio Derwin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Henry in the 41st minute of play forced Merengue FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Ignacio Derwin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Darien. 46 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's Jacinto Frascuelo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Merengue FC's Cirilo Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Cirilo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Derwin in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merengue FC's goalkeeper Cirilo Frichoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Ixona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Iraido went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Domingo Jon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Frichoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. In the 66th minute Ignacio Derwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Evis in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Arnoldo Larra got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Cirilo Frichoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Derwin's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. When Marlin FC's Ignacio Derwin in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Merengue FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Merengue FC defense, Anier Eufrasio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cirilo Frichoso. The Merengue FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cirilo Frichoso should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Frichoso having to interfere. Marlin FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
