In the 2nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurboc's goalkeeper Hernan Berenguer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 4 played minutes, Hurboc's Mauro Iago shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hurboc reached it. With an all-out effort, Hurboc's Erasmo Ixona threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaudencio Isidor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nereo Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Wick in the 10th minute of play. If Eusebio Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Berenguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Eufrasio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Koldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Erasmo Ixona made a huge save. With a little luck, Marlin FC's Erasmo Ixona got control of the ball when Cosme Thomas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Ixona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Koldo in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Gaudencio Isidor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Ixona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Hurboc getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ernesto Poncio hit a great ball. Hurboc's Hernan Berenguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Derwin in the 27th minute of play. John Wick scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Ixona, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. John Wick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Erasmo Ixona made a huge save. After 39 minutes, Gilberto Garaile mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marlin FC and the Hurboc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilberto Garaile hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Darien hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Mauro Iago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Ixona was a little too slow when Eusebio Koldo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-0.
Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Wick in the 52nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Marlin FC defense, Cosme Thomas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Ixona. The Marlin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Ixona should have stopped the shot. Eusebio Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Arnaldo Darien kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Cosme Thomas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Erasmo Ixona came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Hurboc's Melquiades Salvator. But to his dismay, Melquiades Salvator quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Wick in the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Poncio during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Hurboc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Poncio to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Darien took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hernan Berenguer. Hurboc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Thomas came free, but Erasmo Ixona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Orti charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pablo Orti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pablo Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Erasmo Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hurboc! Hernan Berenguer had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnaldo Darien's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 86th match minute, Hurboc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Isidor to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Abreu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Erasmo Ixona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Iago, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Hurboc's Eusebio Koldo got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute Gaudencio Isidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hurboc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
