But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kris Palmann couldn't finish the play. Anier Eufrasio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gao Fei made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Anier Eufrasio made a precise shot to the right of Gao Fei. Real Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 14th minute, 卫青 Wu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 16th match minute, Real Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Garaile to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Evis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Gao Fei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Nereo Henry got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kris Palmann in the 20th minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Henry in the 21st minute of play forced Real Racing Club's goalkeeper Gao Fei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Domingo Jon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Jon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Real Racing Club's Kris Palmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Ixona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gao Fei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卫青 Wu in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Kris Palmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignacio Derwin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by 卫青 Wu in the 51st minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Celso Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, 卫青 Wu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but 卫青 Wu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Ixona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kris Palmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kris Palmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, 卫青 Wu made a precise shot to the right of Erasmo Ixona. Marlin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, Real Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Evis came free, but Gao Fei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Gilberto Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 卫青 Wu. Kris Palmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Erasmo Ixona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Ixona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 卫青 Wu in the 78th minute of play. Côme Concha charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Côme Concha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Côme Concha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by 卫青 Wu in the 82nd minute of play forced Marlin FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Real Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Orlanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes, Marlin FC's Gilberto Garaile shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gao Fei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlin FC reached it. Thanks to some nice moves Kris Palmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Erasmo Ixona however easily saved by the left post. The Real Racing Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Racing Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
