The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Ronconi during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santo Gonzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Justo Estefan made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Formentera's goalkeeper Justo Estefan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig-Åke Blomberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Mlekodaj in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Estefan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Formentera's Justo Estefan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Formentera from getting a goal against them. After 18 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Poncio. Justo Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ton Meulman in the 21st minute of play. Justo Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ton Meulman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Ronconi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ata Baykut kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The long shot by Stig-Åke Blomberg in the 39th minute really tested Justo Estefan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Justo Estefan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ton Meulman. But to his dismay, Ton Meulman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 43rd match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Rafe to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience thought a goal was coming when 楚政潮 got free with Albino Maiorga in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Justo Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ton Meulman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, 楚政潮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ton Meulman, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Justo Estefan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Gonzo in the 65th minute of play. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Húmi Pomelin was substituted for Santo Gonzo. The supporters of Formentera booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Ali Fidan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Húmi Pomelin came free, but Justo Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a corner. Formentera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stig-Åke Blomberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Stig-Åke Blomberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Justo Estefan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Húmi Pomelin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ton Meulman hit a great ball. Ton Meulman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes, Bogumil Czubski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Formentera and the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Formentera's Bogumil Czubski got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Ton Meulman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ton Meulman hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Poncio in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Deportivo Pomelo Nenene were the better team. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
