With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Bidun in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hagström saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. In the 8thth minute of the game Osvaldo Bidun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Jon Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Eyague during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Moises Eyague hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Don Olofinjana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Osvaldo Bidun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mario Tiniebra might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon Hagström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Tiniebra ran back to his position shaking his head. Santo Shantala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmiro Cibran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When 1989 Blxsk's Osvaldo Bidun in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as 1989 Blxsk's Osvaldo Bidun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jon Hagström. That made the score 2-1 after 40 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Paulo Lluciano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Shantala was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 1989 Blxsk's Santo Shantala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Cibran in the 47th minute of play.

The supporters of 1989 Blxsk booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Cibran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Tiniebra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Ubaldo Raphael came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubaldo Raphael couldn't finish the play. If Jonathan Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1989 Blxsk's Emanuel Markel got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Candido Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1989 Blxsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Hagström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jon Hagström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Tylenda in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Bartoli in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hagström saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. 96 minutes into the match, Jonathan Bartoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jon Hagström. De Boedo Vengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Bartoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Boedo Vengo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 1989 Blxsk.
