The tension between the De Boedo Vengo and the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yu Yao kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Mlekodaj in the 9th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Jon Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tolek Mlekodaj in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon Hagström saved De Boedo Vengo from getting behind. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Åke Blomberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tolek Mlekodaj in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon Hagström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ubaldo Bastian during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Bastian to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Ton Meulman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jon Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Yu Yao hit a great ball. Ademar Cosme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the last second Jon Hagström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tolek Mlekodaj in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 37thth minute of the game Tolek Mlekodaj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Jon Hagström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 39th play minutes Tolek Mlekodaj shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jon Hagström and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Tolek Mlekodaj sped through De Boedo Vengo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon Hagström. Santo Gonzos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Jon Hagström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolek Mlekodaj made a kick off. Cristian Kemen's late challenge caught a Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Kemen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Cristian Kemen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolek Mlekodaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the De Boedo Vengo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene.
