When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jan-Erik Lönn put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Mancio. 36 minutes into the game, Jan-Erik Lönn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Samuel Mancio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jan-Erik Lönn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Mancio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Samuel Mancio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Erik Lönn's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Osvaldo Sugar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Sugar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Librado was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jan-Erik Lönn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formentera's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Erik Lönn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Mancio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jan-Erik Lönn had several of the Loco De Remate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Samuel Mancio as he didn't even see the shot coming. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jan-Erik Lönn had several of the Loco De Remate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 87 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Samuel Mancio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Alvaro Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Justo Estefan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
