The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The throw-in from Alvaro Resto in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ademar Cosme. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Gustavo Ondino got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Florencio Orlanda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tolek Mlekodaj had several of the Loco De Remate's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 17 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Samuel Mancio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Loco De Remate's Samuel Mancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Loco De Remate from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Santo Gonzo made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Mancio. Loco De Remate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Tolek Mlekodaj recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Samuel Mancio. Tolek Mlekodaj showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Mlekodaj came free, but Samuel Mancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jesus Librado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Tolek Mlekodaj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene and the Loco De Remate players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tolek Mlekodaj hit a great ball. Albino Maiorga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Librado in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Gaston Mogel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loco De Remate and the Deportivo Pomelo Nenene players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Mogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Samuel Mancio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Gonzo. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Bibiano in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tolek Mlekodaj to make the kick off. Samuel Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Loco De Remate getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Feliciano Tome hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Ademar Cosme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Mancio skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Feliciano Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Gonzo scored 5-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Samuel Mancio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Tolek Mlekodaj put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Mancio. 71 minutes into the match, Ton Meulman notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Loco De Remate's Samuel Mancio. Samuel Mancio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anibal Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ademar Cosme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Samuel Mancio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Pomelo Nenene reached it. Samuel Mancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ton Meulman in the 78th minute of the match. Samuel Mancio came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Osman Ali Fidan. But to his dismay, Osman Ali Fidan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osman Ali Fidan in the 84th minute of play forced Loco De Remate's goalkeeper Samuel Mancio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ton Meulman, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. There was no doubt that Deportivo Pomelo Nenene were the better team. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
