Venancio Hodei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Hodei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramon Damario in the 9th minute. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aquilino Pagomari hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Alfonso Palban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Damario came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fabricio Frechoso hit a great ball. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Fabricio Frechoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Moises Napier came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Franja Dorada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Napier couldn't finish the play. When Marcos Jaen fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nouvelle Vague's protests and gave Marcos Jaen a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Jaen. In the 34th minute, Raul Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Franja Dorada's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Abechuco came free, but Venancio Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes, Aquilino Tajo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franja Dorada and the Nouvelle Vague players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquilino Tajo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A hard shot by Fabricio Frechoso from long distance, 40 minutes into the match, got Venancio Hodei's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 47thth minute of the game Agustin Abechuco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Franja Dorada's Venancio Hodei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Fabricio Frechoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Venancio Hodei. Franja Dorada's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Natalio Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Hodei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Damario in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Franja Dorada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Ramon Damario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Alfonso Palban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Socorro having to interfere. Raul Castulo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Castulo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Castulo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Agustin Abechuco scored 1-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Hodei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter Abacha took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Hodei. Venancio Hodei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquilino Pagomari during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aquilino Pagomari kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Franja Dorada got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Remicio. When the referee ended the match the Nouvelle Vague players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
