Bresikas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Guillerme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Serafin Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bresikas's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Guillerme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Dubardo to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Abechuco to make the kick off. If Agustin Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54thth minute of the game Serafin Fernandes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nouvelle Vague's Gualterio Socorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Nouvelle Vague's Erasmo Ado threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agustin Abechuco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74th minute, Bresikas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Agustin Abechuco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 79th match minute, Bresikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Chaime to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Abechuco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erasmo Ado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute Nouvelle Vague were awarded a corner. Pablo Hermon went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Walter Abacha managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Agustin Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Erasmo Ado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walter Abacha in the 93rd minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Erasmo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erasmo Ado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Abechuco in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Nouvelle Vague could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bresikas throughout the match.
