In the 9th minute Teodosio Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Amboy FC's Manuel Oto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Garaona. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Nereo Tohias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Bernebe was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 23rd minute, Angelino Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Los Andes from getting a goal against them. In the 26th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Munio to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Oto hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalkeeper Enrique Garaona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Vo. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Los Andes defense, Zé Vo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Garaona. The Club Atletico Los Andes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Garaona should have stopped the shot. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Guillen in the 48th minute of play.

Amboy FC made a substitution. Jani Como replaced Zé Vo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Oto to strike the kick off in the second half. Jani Como struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Enrique Garaona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amboy FC. Amboy FC's Gustavo Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Guillen in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Club Atletico Los Andes booed when Amboy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Senio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jani Como who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Enrique Garaona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jani Como, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Angelino Rioja hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Manuel Oto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Enrique Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 78 minutes, Teodosio Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Los Andes and the Amboy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Teodosio Urre. Dalmacio Javiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Garaona having to interfere. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Hernan Quilino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amboy FC the free kick. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Quilino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelino Rioja made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gilberto Munio however managed to control. In the 89th minute, Angelino Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Jani Como made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jani Como in the 94th minute of play. When Angelino Rioja fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Los Andes's protests and gave Angelino Rioja a yellow card for diving instead. After 97 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Rioja. In the 98th minute, Jani Como left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amboy FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Amboy FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
