The Gutenberg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 5th minute Benedicto Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute, Joaquin Gallardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Garaona was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 12 minutes of play, Gutenberg's Benedicto Bento made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute John Rambo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Benedicto Bento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Garaona. Club Atletico Los Andes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Bento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 20th minute, Abel Gines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gutenberg booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Urre didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Los Andes getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Silvano Gorbea hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Gutenberg's Manuel Nicholas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 25 minutes, Teodosio Guillen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Los Andes and the Gutenberg players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teodosio Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Abel Gines notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona. Enrique Garaona was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Garaona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Teodosio Guillen was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 40th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Guillen to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Bento in the 42nd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Joaquin Gallardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Enrique Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enrique Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Gallardo in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nereo Tohias to strike the kick off in the second half. John Rambo took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enrique Garaona. Enrique Garaona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. 54 minutes into the game, Benedicto Bento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enrique Garaona. Benedicto Bento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. The Gutenberg fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Gutenberg's Joaquin Gallardo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 64 minutes of play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Gilberto Munio made it 1-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes Club Atletico Los Andes got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Gorbea. Gutenberg's Micco 刘备 was substituted for John Rambo. If Joaquin Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Gitano in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Joaquin Gallardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Garaona was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-11. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gallardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Enrique Garaona made a huge save. Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Los Andes from getting a goal against them. Gilberto Munio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gutenberg booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Atarrabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Tohias to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gallardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enrique Garaona having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Gutenberg's Joaquin Gallardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-13. Gutenberg's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
