Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicanor Gaufred made the kick off which started today's match. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Romano in the 3rd minute of play. Urbano Bemabe made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Baldomiro Gamus sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Palermo's Donato Vachon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Bemabe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Donato Vachon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Urbano Bemabe made a huge save. Urbano Bemabe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Gaufred, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Romero in the 17th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Anselmo Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo and the Albigasta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaspar Irrintzi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Albigasta FC's zone, Nicanor Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urbano Bemabe came out of the goal and Nicanor Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Mantzio in the 27th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Enrique Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Artemio Celino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Guipuzkoa took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbano Bemabe. Urbano Bemabe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Romero in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Anselmo Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palermo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Albigasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Vachon came free, but Urbano Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Romano was the one to do the kick off. Urbano Bemabe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
