Natalio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes, Aristides Castel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marco Peli's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Peli helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Candelaria FC's Marco Peli got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gustavo Galindo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Justino Quinito. Aristides Castel might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Castel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 25th minute, Nereo Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Osorio in the 27th minute of the match. Aristides Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gustavo Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustavo Galindo came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Aristides Castel. But to his dismay, Aristides Castel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 35th minute Aristides Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Castel scored 5-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Galindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rdth minute of the game Aristides Castel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ruperto Erlantz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Aristides Castel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustavo Galindo. The goal made the score 6-0.

The wind increased when Aureliano Izotz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Aristides Castel notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Candelaria FC's Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aristides Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gustavo Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAN LORENZO FC's Ismael Ticho got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Jenaro in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Galindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casimiro Jenaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustavo Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Casimiro Jenaro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Casimiro Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Candelario didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Justino Quinito broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gustavo Galindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jenaro in the 88th minute of play. Jorge Rinaldi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Gustavo Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. In the 92nd minute Casimiro Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SAN LORENZO FC had played much better football throughout.
