Alfredo Tulio lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Candelaria FC! Candelaria FC:s Gustavo Galindo showed great skill when he stopped Ivan Drago:s penalty. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Esiquio took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th minute, Javier Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Esiquio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Candelaria FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Delmar Kelemen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Esiquio in the 41st minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Osoitz during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Esiquio made a kick off. Guillermo Esiquio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustavo Galindo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Guillermo Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Ganix. Cachiyuyo EAS were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Candelaria FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivan Drago took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Javier Ganix managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Gustavo Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Esiquio in the 68th minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Everardo Henrico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candelaria FC and the Cachiyuyo EAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Everardo Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Guillermo Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cachiyuyo EAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Cachiyuyo EAS booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, 江适磊 made a precise shot to the right of Gustavo Galindo. Candelaria FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Candelaria FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cachiyuyo EAS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
