After a rather tough play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Celestino Katia got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, DON RAMON 72's Silvano Harkaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Mejía made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Delmar Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Artime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when DON RAMON 72 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Hanot came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by LA LUZ F.C.'s Gonzalo Carneiro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Reynaldo Rameriz made the kick off in the second half. Gualterio Quilo's late challenge caught a DON RAMON 72's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gualterio Quilo helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Quilo. DON RAMON 72's Delmar Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Artime in the 76th minute of play. If Teofilo Sansone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Mejía didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Rameriz went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Silvano Harkaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Luís Mejía made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DON RAMON 72 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
