A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Raul Jaizki hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Haroldo Lleir notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CF Scalonetos's Ahmed Long. Ahmed Long was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Las Momias F. Alejandro Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th match minute, Las Momias F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nacho Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Abajas. The audience was convinced that Erasmo James's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmed Long was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Ahmed Long, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute Erasmo James shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Las Momias F. C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The tension between the Las Momias F. C. and the CF Scalonetos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CF Scalonetos booed when Las Momias F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo James didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Lesardo during the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo James in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmed Long saved CF Scalonetos from getting behind. Nacho Nuñez kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ahmed Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo James in the 96th minute of the match. Las Momias F. C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
