The audience thought a goal was coming when Mando Lucifer got free with Stipe Pletikosa in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaspar Pacho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Francesco Toldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Mouricio in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francesco Toldo saved Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting behind. In the 12th minute Mando Lucifer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stipe Pletikosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Kramarić, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Stipe Pletikosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mando Lucifer in the 14th minute. Thomas Klanakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Stipe Pletikosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Mouricio in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Spams's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Klanakis. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francesco Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mouricio in the 32nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Mouricio came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Cecilio Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Mando Lucifer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stipe Pletikosa. That made the score 1-0 after 36 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaspar Pacho in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Toldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Aristides Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stipe Pletikosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes of play, Spams's Cecilio Telesforo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francesco Toldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Spams made a substitution. Ramon Lizardi replaced Andrej Kramarić.

The wind increased when Emanuel Mouricio made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Resurrección Diabólica Ψ booed when Spams was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mando Lucifer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Spams's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Klanakis in the 65th minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 70th minute when Aristides Ieltxu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Gabriel Gomez was substituted for Aristides Ieltxu. Francesco Toldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Lizardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Ramon Lizardi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes, Igor Tudor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spams and the Resurrección Diabólica Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Spams got a freekick which was hit by Igor Tudor. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Resurrección Diabólica Ψ from getting a goal against them. Spams's Melchor Theodore came free and shot a quick shot against goal 83 minutes in the game, fortunately Francesco Toldo had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Stipe Pletikosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
