After taking down the ball on Espirillo FC's corner Daniel Diagur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damián Martínez quite easily take care of the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 17th minute when Maximiliano Ramirez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Diagur in the 21st minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Ramirez was the one to do the kick off. Eduardo Endura's late challenge caught a Espirillo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Endura helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd minute, Eduardo Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Espirillo FC's Jairo Rutenio got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Ivan Laurendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Mendez got free with Damián Martínez in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Rutenio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
