Edelmiro Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bilos in the 21st minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Zoran Zahrádka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Tano Gutiérrez. If Narciso Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Urko FC's Lucio Ermano got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Urko FC defense, Elvio Crispo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Haimar. The Urko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Haimar should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Primitivo Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zoran Zahrádka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Leocadio in the 42nd minute of the match. Lucio Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Urko FC booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Sidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Leocadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Zoran Zahrádka made a huge save.

In the 53rd minute Urko FC were awarded a corner. Alonzo Rito went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alonzo Rito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zoran Zahrádka quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Zoran Zahrádka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Primitivo Vermudo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Urko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Urko FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Haimar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Primitivo Vermudo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Zoran Zahrádka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Elvio Crispo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zuberbühler FC's protests and gave Elvio Crispo a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Crispo. 79 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Leocadio came free, but Zoran Zahrádka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Leocadio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoran Zahrádka having to interfere. Elvio Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Edelmiro Haimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Urko FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
