The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Jacinto Nayely was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zuberbühler FC the free kick. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when Ciclista FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Erubiel Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Felo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Cordarryl kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Ciclista FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Cordarryl. In the 15th match minute, Zuberbühler FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Jesco to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Elvio Crispo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltasar Fiz. Elvio Crispo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Zuberbühler FC's zone, Pascual Cordarryl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zoran Zahrádka came out of the goal and Pascual Cordarryl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Galindo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Jorge Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Elvio Crispo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Fiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 28th minute of the match, Virgilio Gonzales got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baltasar Fiz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Narciso Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Rodrigo Froylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Elvio Crispo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltasar Fiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Elvio Crispo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltasar Fiz. The goal made the score 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Crispo to make the kick off. A collision led to Ciclista FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aurelio Castulo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Nayely could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Zoran Zahrádka however easily saved by the left post. Baltasar Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Felo in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Virgilio Gonzales got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 65th minute, Baldomiro Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Zuberbühler FC's Zoran Zahrádka got control of the ball when Jacinto Nayely tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baltasar Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Fiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 84th play minutes Erubiel Felo shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Baltasar Fiz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 88th minute, Erubiel Felo made a precise shot to the right of Baltasar Fiz. Ciclista FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Ciclista FC's Baltasar Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Neto in the 95th minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
