An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Pacho in the 5th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Natalio Ferman in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Natalio Ferman ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Passet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Carlos Germano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseo Bingen in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Blas Francho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Alvaro Ignatius fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Alvaro Ignatius a yellow card for diving instead. Alvaro Ignatius hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Agustin Pacho sped through San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oscar Passet. Oscar Passet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Ignatius in the 93rd minute of the match. Despite being the better team, San Lorenzo de Sarandi failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
